Sigiriya Fortress is an amazing place to learn about Sri Lankan history whilst admiring the ancient rock fortress. The site is both historically and archaeologically significant within Sri Lankan culture. Sri Lanka is also famous for delicate varieties of tea and plantation tours are a popular activity for tourists visiting the country.

The nature is unbelievable with so much beauty crammed into a small country. The tropical climate provides the country with a wealth of lush rainforests and gorgeous beaches. Sri Lankas relaxed national parks are home to the most amazing animals. The life to be found is magnificent with Asian elephants, cheeky primates, huge water buffalo and exotic birds. The relaxed rules of the national parks allow safari tours to be taken and a few hotels even have watering holes right outside. Sri Lankas alpha predator is also thriving within the country and Yala National Park is Sri Lankas number one leopard sanctuary. Meanwhile, the coast is an area favoured by blue whales and encounters with the worlds biggest creature are both possible and reliable.
